I just saw an episode of CSI NY when I saw an egyptian myth which fits to the season 3’s events with our draconequus.
It seems in egyptian mythology was a story of Seth, the god of Chaos [Discord] who was protecting the god of Sun, Ra [Celestia] from the god of Evil [new powerful villain?].
So… maybe that was the reason Celestia wants Discord standing by his side? And we already knew she knows more than she talks.
